Switching Ace and King
Crowns » Devlog
One thing I've noticed in many of the test games I've played is that people kinda get confused on the Ace in particular. It's one of the simplest cards mechanically and yet it's harder to remember. I think this stems largely from the idea that the Ace is the most powerful card in most card games and yet in this game it ends up in-between 10 and Jack.
To resolve this, I have switched the mechanics between the Ace and the King and readjusted the value of all the cards collectively.
I have not updated the games page to reflect this yet, but the rules document is up to date at least!
Hopefully, this change will make the game feel more natural :)
